It’s Reading Week and I’m back home from uni. Thankfully I’ve finished most of my midterms, so I can spend this time reading things I actually enjoy…not sure how much more of Managerial Accounting I can take.
This post is dedicated to books. I can spend hours in a bookstore, especially the ones that carry old/used books.
I came across a cute little place while I was strolling around downtown a few weekends ago. When I entered the bookstore the musty smell welcomed me. There were rows and rows of books in every genre. Naturally, I went straight to the travel/history section. It also amazes me how creative cover art can be. I left empty-handed unfortunately, but I’ll definitely revisit in the future!
Some books I am hoping to finish in the near future: The Screwtape Letters - C.S. Lewis, Outliers - Malcolm Galdwell, Ogilvy on Advertising - David Ogilvy, and some of my Chinese textbooks.
I need to put this all over the place. Though it would probably be counter-productive as I would waste time just staring at the pretty.
